At Gift Basket Australia, we’re committed to delivering beautifully curated gift baskets with exceptional service. Please read through our policies below regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds.
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us within 1 hour of placing it. Orders are processed quickly, and we may not be able to cancel without incurring charges once production has begun.
- Cancellation before dispatch: A $5.00 fee applies to cover transaction costs.
- Personalised baskets: Additional fees may apply if items have already been customised.
- If your basket is packed and ready for shipping: A $19.95 processing fee will apply, with the balance refunded.
- If cancellation is requested after dispatch: We will attempt to retrieve the basket from the courier, but this is not guaranteed. If successful, a $19.95 return fee applies and the remaining amount will be refunded.
- If the order has already been delivered: It may not be eligible for cancellation or return unless the items are unopened and undamaged. Return postage is at the customer’s expense.
Please note our business hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm AEDT. Orders placed outside of these hours will be processed on the next business day.
Amending Orders
To request a change to your order, contact us within 1 hour of placing it. Orders are processed quickly, and changes may not be possible without additional charges, especially for personalised items.
If personalised products have already been processed, amendment fees may apply.
Returns & Refunds Policy
Change of Mind
- Returns for change of mind must be received within 14 days, unopened and undamaged, at the customer’s own cost.
- Refunds will be processed minus the original shipping fee and may be subject to a $19.95 processing fee.

Damaged, Faulty, or Missing Items
If you receive a damaged, incorrect, or incomplete gift basket:
- Notify us within 5 days of receiving your delivery.
- Provide photographic evidence to support your claim.
- A refund or credit will be issued for affected items.
Please note: We do not resend individual replacement items (e.g., bottles, mugs, decanters) due to breakage risks.
Delivery Timing
While we aim to deliver your basket on your selected date, all delivery dates are estimates.
- Early arrivals may occur due to courier efficiency.
- Delays can happen due to external factors.
Refunds or compensation are not issued for baskets delivered within four business days of the requested date.
Alternate Products
Occasionally, you may receive a product variation in your basket (e.g., flavour, colour, or type). When substitutions are required, we ensure:
- The replacement item is of equal or greater value.
Your gift basket remains beautifully presented and thoughtfully curated.
Special Order Items
Products marked “Special Order” require up to 2 business days to become available and are pre-order only.
To inquire about special items, please contact us — we’ll work with you to make your gift basket extra special.
Refund Method
- Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at checkout (card, PayPal, or Afterpay).For corporate orders paid via invoice, please provide your bank details for EFT refunds.
